Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing standardized assessments to create tailored treatment plans that address each individual's unique health goals.
• Deliver skilled therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities, to promote mobility and functionality in daily activities.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the achievement of optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care and maximize treatment efficacy.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic practices, at-home exercise programs, and strategies for preventing injuries, thereby empowering them to actively participate in their wellness journey.
• Implement fall prevention measures specific to the needs of the geriatric community, contributing to safety and well-being within assisted living settings.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate or Master's Degree is preferred.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this rewarding role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
