Work Environment\n

This role is set within an outpatient office that utilizes a hybrid model, allowing for remote sessions. Our clinic is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted support. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, maintaining a healthy work-life balance while striving to make meaningful changes in our clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and nature of their mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, effectively addressing their unique needs and personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to manage mood disorders.

• Monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on feedback and changes in symptoms.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, identifying treatment options and self-care strategies for enhanced recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and healthcare regulations.

• Engage in regular professional development to stay updated with current research, techniques, and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents experiencing significant mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proven knowledge and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, especially CBT and DBT.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a clinical setting providing psychotherapy for mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with using telehealth platforms is a plus, given the hybrid work model.

Compensation and Benefits\n
