Key Responsibilities\n

• Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on relationship dynamics and personal healing.

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments, as well as ongoing evaluations, to tailor effective therapeutic programs for each client.

• Identifying clients' unique needs, strengths, and available support systems to collaboratively set achievable, meaningful therapeutic goals.

• Facilitating clients' adjustment to significant life changes, such as illness, divorce, or career transitions, through focused therapeutic interventions.

• Researching and advocating for community resources like healthcare, childcare, and financial assistance to enhance client well-being and assist in navigating their challenges.

• Using evidence-based practices to guide therapeutic strategies tailored specifically for children and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with individuals and families who are navigating the complexities of substance abuse and mental health disorders. This includes addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and other stressors that can impact family cohesion. The clients served at Joint Restoration Center often come from diverse backgrounds, making cultural competence a crucial element of the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of a current and active California license in Marriage Family Therapy, with no restrictions due to probation or suspension.

Compensation and Benefits\n
