Work Environment

This position will be primarily onsite at patients' homes, offering you the flexibility to choose your own hours from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, pain levels, and functional limitations upon initial home visits.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using various therapeutic methods including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modern equipment to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patients' progress, documenting changes in their condition and modifying treatment plans based on their responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, pain management techniques, and the use of assistive devices, ensuring they are comfortable with the prescribed routines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to integrate multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, networking, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, encompassing a broad age range. This includes individuals who have had joint replacements, fractures, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer and administrative skills to effectively maintain patient records.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, open to dynamic work situations.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic or home health physical therapy is preferred but not required.
