Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our home care facility, allowing you to perform therapy sessions in the comfortable and familiar environments of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their goals and needs, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with these objectives.
• Maintain an effective patient load, conducting one-on-one sessions to ensure focused and comprehensive care.
• Integrate a variety of physical therapy techniques tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
• Continuously assess patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients, providing education on exercises and lifestyle adjustments to support their recovery.
• Document all treatments and outcomes in the electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care.
• Promote preventative care and educate patients on maintaining physical wellness following therapy discharge.
• Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Many of our patients are covered by private medical insurance, ensuring a commitment to high-quality service and care. By working closely with individuals who are eager to regain their abilities, you will play a pivotal role in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida without any disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing tailored exercise regimens.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health therapy settings is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and innovations in physical therapy treatments.
• Demonstrated success in patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
