Work Environment

The physical therapists will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Sanford, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and health status changes due to injury or disease, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with physician directives.

• Document all evaluations, treatments, and updates in a clear and timely manner, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while communicating effectively about the necessity of therapeutic services.

• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and support staff to enhance patient rehabilitation efforts and maintain a positive and productive team atmosphere.

• Interact routinely with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to collaboratively assess and adjust treatment plans in a multidisciplinary setting.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure each patient's treatment goals are being met.

• Provide constructive feedback to the rehabilitation center's leadership to promote operational efficiencies and enhance service delivery within the department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.

• Proficiency in computer systems and word processing, essential for documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience working in a physical therapy setting, providing hands-on care and developing treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
