Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Deltona, Florida. Our working hours are set from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a structured and manageable work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, enhancing the holistic care we provide.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the therapeutic processes for a designated group of patients, ensuring close collaboration with both the patient care team and physicians.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and participate in creating customized care plans that emphasize goal attainment, patient engagement, and a positive clinical experience.
• Administer and observe therapeutic interventions within established legal and ethical standards, prioritizing the patient's comfort and well-being at all times.
• Regularly evaluate and adapt treatment modalities as necessary, based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring alignment with the overarching care plan.
• Provide skilled therapeutic services in the patients' homes when applicable, applying evidence-based techniques to promote functional recovery consistent with medical directives.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on proper therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices to encourage continued progress outside of sessions.
• Manage caseload efficiently, determine staffing requirements, and coordinate hand-offs to ensure quality care delivery.
