Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in facilitating therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging individual therapy sessions, either remotely or in clients' homes, to address mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to support children and adolescents, focusing on anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills development.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans addressing behavioral challenges, including self-injurious behaviors, by employing proven therapeutic strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a cohesive treatment experience.
\n
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory standards.

• Participate in monthly professional development meetings and contribute ideas to enhance clinic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists serve a diverse population that includes children and adolescents aged 3-20 with varying levels of developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. This role requires sensitivity and awareness of the specific needs of each child, as well as an ability to engage with their families to foster cooperative improvement in the child's behavior and social skills.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or related disciplines.

• A valid and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Arizona.
\n
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with flexibility for occasional weekend sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years' experience in providing therapeutic support, particularly with children and families.

• Experience in positive behavior support techniques and interventions.
\n
• Prior engagement with children having intellectual and developmental disabilities is highly valued.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes as needed.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
