Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress and promoting emotional stability.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, stressors, and goals, thereby customizing mindfulness practices to meet their individual needs.
\n
• Facilitate various mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques to enhance clients' self-awareness and aid in emotional regulation.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions and workshops that focus on mindfulness, stress management, and building lasting resilience techniques.

• Incorporate personalized mindfulness strategies into one-on-one therapy sessions to tackle specific mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, or grief.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and the interventions applied, in line with best practices and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Engage in continual professional development, including participation in personal mindfulness practice and ongoing training related to MBSR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• A strong understanding of mindfulness principles and practices, with a preference for candidates who have completed advanced training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

• Excellent communication skills are essential for establishing trusting relationships and creating a calm therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
