Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive counseling services to clients, addressing their academic, professional, and personal needs holistically.
\n
• Utilize telehealth technology to conduct individual therapy sessions and ensure that client progress aligns with established goals.
\n
• Monitor client medication adherence by providing timely medication prompts and reminders, as well as assisting with medication storage and organization.
\n
• Work closely with clients to teach essential life skills, including public transportation usage, grocery shopping, meal planning, and cooking.
\n
• Collaborate with team members to share observations about client mood, tone, and overall wellbeing, contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
\n
• Maintain clear and accurate records, ensuring timely documentation of client interactions and progress reports.
\n
• Uphold all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards to maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines and program requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds seeking support for a range of mental health issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with clients experiencing emotional distress, life transitions, and relationship challenges, promoting resilience and fostering personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field required.
\n
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, or LPCC in California. Note that we currently cannot accept applicants with an associate license.

• Strong proficiency in utilizing technology and remote counseling platforms, as well as solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
\n
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric clients is preferred but not required.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and best practices for virtual counseling.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
