Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your own schedule while working to meet our clients' needs. Our operating hours extend from Monday through Saturday, giving you the autonomy to arrange your sessions between 10 to 40 hours per week. Each clinician in our team plays an integral role in a collaborative work culture, emphasizing teamwork and mutual support to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students and their families to develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to address mental health issues, ensuring to adapt approaches to each client's unique situation.

• Documenting and communicating assessments, interventions, and progress effectively within the interdisciplinary care team through routine meetings and patient rounds.
\n
• Coordinating case management efforts, working alongside school officials, parents, and community resources to facilitate comprehensive support for your clients.
\n
• Maintaining ethical and timely documentation in adherence to departmental standards while monitoring patient safety and education needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor in a school setting, you will work primarily with adolescents and their families. Understanding the complexities of youth mental health, you will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges, while ensuring a family-centered approach to intervention. Your role will be pivotal in promoting mental wellness and resilience among students, fostering a safe and supportive school environment.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
