Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by their physicians to determine their physical therapy needs through thorough assessments and diagnostic skills.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methodologies.
• Provide hands-on treatment and interventions to improve function, mobility, and overall wellness, ensuring a personalized approach aligned with medical directives.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, exercises, and healthy lifestyle choices to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you'll work with come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of physical therapy needs, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric developmental issues. Our practice emphasizes patient-centered care, meaning you will establish meaningful connections with patients to better understand their unique challenges and goals, facilitating a more effective treatment process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in New Jersey, with eligibility for DPT programs preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and patient management systems.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly regarded, along with two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in outpatient settings dealing with various specialties like orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and connect with patients on a personal level to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• A current CPR Certificate is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
