Position Overview

Progressive Care Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Keansburg, New Jersey. In this integral role, you will be pivotal in helping patients recuperate, restore functionality, and enhance their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs. This position is a full-time opportunity, with a work schedule running from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy services, focusing on each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain an appropriate patient caseload to ensure high-quality, individualized attention.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to patients' specific conditions.
• Implement evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques to enhance patient mobility and functionality.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives within treatment plans, reducing reliance on medications and fostering holistic recovery approaches.
• Design and administer customized exercise programs to improve strength, balance, and coordination, while reflecting the latest research in physical therapy.
• Consistently monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for all patient interactions and therapy sessions, in compliance with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of patients suffering from various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and physical limitations due to aging. Our commitment to quality care means you will serve a diverse population, helping individuals reclaim their mobility and independence while addressing their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or legal proceedings.
• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and a keen understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient and accurate documentation of patient care.
• A commitment to staying abreast of current physical therapy research and advancements in treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.
• Knowledge of sports medicine and familiarity with rehabilitation techniques specific to athletic injuries.
• Background in collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
