Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will be tasked with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Delivering psychotherapy services to a diverse patient demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing personalized case conceptualizations to guide treatment.
• Facilitating collaboration with other healthcare professionals and involved parties as necessary to ensure holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Mental Health Counselors work with individuals and families affected by trauma, utilizing a client-centered approach to foster resilience and recovery. Our patient population encompasses a diverse range of backgrounds, including different ages and socio-economic statuses, allowing our counselors to gain rich, varied experiences while making a profound impact on their clients' mental health journeys.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
• Active licensure in Pennsylvania, with credentials as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, allowing you to practice independently.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing mental health services as a primary therapist or in a similar clinical role.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

• Experience working in trauma-informed care settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Background in case management or collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in behavioral health.

Compensation and Benefits
