Our contemporary sports medicine facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced treatment tools and technology, allowing us to offer innovative and effective therapy solutions. Our dedicated team comprises two experienced physical therapists and a knowledgeable physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working cohesively to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This full-time position will require you to work onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation facility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring you can engage with your patients during the week without weekend obligations. You will be supported by a collaborative team of professionals, fostering an environment rich in knowledge sharing and continuous education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set personalized treatment goals tailored to individual capabilities.
• Manage a patient schedule of one-on-one therapy sessions, allowing for focused attention and care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer effective therapies that enhance patient mobility and range of motion.
• Design and implement customized wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical treatment options and minimize reliance on medications.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records are maintained in our EMR system.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers to create a cohesive and integrated care plan for our patients.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering personalized therapy without the constraints often associated with other care settings. You will work with diverse patient demographics that range from post-operative orthopedic cases to athletes seeking preventative care and rehabilitation, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Comfortable using EMR software, preferably WebPT, for patient documentation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and exercise techniques.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
