Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate suicide risk and mental health needs, ensuring clinical precision in documentation.

• Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, adapting your techniques to fit challenging situations to effectively support clients in distress.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, engaging with medical and support staff to accurately diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders.

• Create detailed treatment plans based on established guidelines for each diagnosis, guiding therapeutic interventions and education for clients.

• Document patient interactions meticulously and track progress while adhering to the ethical standards and reporting mandates of the profession.

• Facilitate recommendations to care teams, enhancing communication and collaboration across all disciplines involved in patient care.

• Offer on-call crisis services and emergency consultations during the workweek, ensuring accessibility and support to patients in need.

• Perform thorough mental health evaluations, including assessments related to criminal behavior and substance abuse histories as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals facing socioeconomic challenges and underrepresented groups in mental health care. You will work closely with mothers, adults struggling with substance abuse, and those with co-occurring disorders, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Your role is crucial in enhancing their quality of life through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• Current independent license to practice in the state of residence, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Capacity to manage a substantial caseload while interfacing with a diverse array of providers and support personnel.
