Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the presence, severity, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and collaborative interviews.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating the clients' individual goals, preferences, and verified evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, explaining treatment options and self-care strategies to aid in recovery and long-term management.

• Continuously monitor client progress by utilizing regular check-ins, client self-reports, and outcome measures, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaboration is key; you will work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, case management, and multidisciplinary meetings.

• Remain informed on the latest research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic practice.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines by documenting client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately using our secure software systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, seeking support for both short-term and chronic mental health issues. Your ability to provide culturally competent and individualized care will be essential in ensuring that each client feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is required.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly CBT and DBT, is essential.

• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology principles as they relate to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
