Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate an understanding of co-occurring medical conditions affecting patients' mental health.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that effectively address both psychiatric and medical issues, fostering optimal patient outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques that cater to the unique needs of each participant.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to coordinate care and optimize treatment strategies, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare providers.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm and decisive approach in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about the interactions between mental and physical health, enabling them to take an active role in their treatment and recovery.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential patient documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage actively in case discussions, team meetings, and interdisciplinary care planning, contributing insights and ideas to improve service delivery.

• Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in training, workshops, and appropriate continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, including individuals facing complex mental health challenges alongside co-occurring medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with patients.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
