Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual goals and needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based techniques.
• Implement a variety of treatment modalities to enhance patient mobility, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and educational interventions.
• Create and execute fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically to the unique needs of each patient, fostering long-lasting improvements in their physical capabilities.
• Mental coaching and motivational support during treatment to empower patients to overcome barriers and achieve optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to align patient care approaches and ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress through regular evaluations, providing feedback and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation process, offering both physical and emotional support as they navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; Master's Degree or Doctorate preferred.
• An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically focusing on individuals with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessments, therapeutic techniques, and care plan development.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• A compassionate approach to care and the ability to adapt your treatment style to accommodate diverse patient personalities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing advanced treatment techniques such as dry needling or specialized manual therapy skills.
• Background in developing group therapy sessions or community wellness programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, team members are eligible for performance-based bonuses.
