Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will perform essential tasks that directly impact client care and community health, including:

• Consulting with prenatal care team members—such as medical providers, midwives, doulas, and lactation consultants—to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Co-facilitating childbirth education sessions and postpartum peer support groups alongside experienced birth workers, providing vital resources for new families.

• Actively participating in community engagement initiatives designed to promote holistic wellness and foster a supportive network for birthing individuals and families.

• Engaging in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning experiences to refine your skills and contribute to our collaborative care environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with expectant and new parents, addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. By focusing on their unique needs, you’ll create a safe space where clients feel heard and empowered to navigate their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse client base and multidisciplinary staff.

• Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage time effectively and seek assistance when warranted.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in maternal mental health, group facilitation, or community health engagement will be considered a strong asset. Additional familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems will enhance your ability to thrive in this remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
