Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions to identify their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that utilize therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy techniques, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on exercises and self-care strategies that promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Document all treatment sessions, maintaining accurate records of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal rehabilitation results.
• Stay current with industry best practices and advances in orthopedic therapy through ongoing professional development opportunities and training workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation following joint replacements to sports injuries and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will work with individuals at various stages of their recovery, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient in order to facilitate their return to optimal function and pain-free living.

Qualifications

• Current Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and basic computer applications for documentation and communication.
• Ability to think critically and adapt treatment methods in response to patient needs and progress.
• Flexibility and agility in handling diverse patient caseloads and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in an orthopedic setting is not mandatory, candidates with relevant clinical internships or training are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
