Build Up Physical Therapy Services is looking for a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sarasota, Florida. This full-time position involves providing direct patient care onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a friendly and supportive rehabilitation facility where teamwork and communication are paramount. With a schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, you will enjoy a consistent work routine that facilitates a good work-life balance. Our facility is designed with the latest technology and equipment to support our therapists and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that align with individual rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to active and passive exercises, muscle re-education techniques, and gait training.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, effective self-care strategies, and home exercise programs to promote continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient support.
• Utilize diverse treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to aid in pain management, enhance mobility, and facilitate recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily focus on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility. You will work with a diverse patient base, including athletes, post-operative individuals, and elderly patients requiring rehabilitation for age-related conditions. The role is critical in restoring patients' physical function and improving their overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active State Physical Therapy license is a must for compliance with Florida state regulations.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, providing a solid foundation for both clinical skills and patient interaction.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong clinical evaluation, treatment skills, and a patient-centered mindset to instill confidence in your care.

Preferred Experience

A background in orthopedic rehabilitation will be considered an asset, especially experience working with post-operative orthopedic cases or sports-related injuries. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial as you maintain accurate patient documentation and track progress throughout treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
