Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify patients' unique trauma histories and inform treatment strategies.

• Develop customized treatment plans that emphasize recovery, resilience, and the specific needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to share their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster a sense of healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated care approach for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their family members about trauma responses and coping strategies, helping them navigate their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards as part of your practice.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to stay updated on the latest research in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Through your expertise, you will contribute to their healing processes by implementing effective, trauma-informed therapeutic techniques designed to enhance resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Possession of a comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, while working collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
