Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional needs of clients, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals.

• Facilitate and lead therapy sessions via secure video platforms, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for clients to discuss their thoughts and feelings.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or mindfulness practices.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining the confidentiality of all client records.

• Engage in regular collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment approaches and client care effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many clients present with a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid and active LCMHC license issued by the state of Vermont.

Preferred Experience\n

Although a minimum of two years in a clinical setting working as a mental health counselor is required, candidates with experience supporting diverse populations and those familiar with trauma-informed care approaches will be preferred. Familiarity with community health clinics and integrated care models would be advantageous.
