Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-home therapy sessions and group therapy sessions at our outpatient center to address mental health conditions and promote overall well-being.

• Utilize behavioral strategies to assist clients in developing anger management techniques, coping skills, and social interactions.

• Work collaboratively to minimize high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or aggressive actions by implementing tailored intervention plans.

• Assist caregivers in project management and decision-making processes to effectively navigate behavioral challenges within the home environment.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team, coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including intake assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to designated submission timelines.

• Participate in monthly staff meetings, bringing insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population served includes children and youth aged 3 to 20 who present with developmental disabilities and related intellectual challenges. As a Bilingual LMFT, your ability to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese will provide a vital bridge to support the diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds of our clients. Your contributions will be instrumental in creating a safe and understanding environment conducive to therapeutic progress.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Arizona.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4 to 7 PM, with weekend availability preferred.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for in-home therapy sessions.

• Successful completion of a background check, including fingerprinting, as required by state regulations.
