Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and crisis interventions for clients through telehealth methods.

• Assess patient needs to determine appropriate mental health care options and coordinate dispositions effectively.

• Prepare and complete necessary statistical reports to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to patients, ensuring they receive adequate housing and treatment.

• Coordinate patient care with other service programs to enhance holistic treatment approaches.

• Lead group therapy sessions for patients, fostering supportive interactions in virtual settings.

• Ensure all patient documentation meets organization standards and is accurately submitted.

• Engage in weekly clinical supervision to receive guidance and feedback on case management.

• Participate in mental health and medical rounds as assigned, integrating insights from these sessions into patient care.

• Attend case conferences to discuss treatment options for current and prospective patients, contributing expert insights into care plans.

• Conduct psychological testing and assessments as assigned, ensuring comprehensive evaluations for appropriate treatment interventions.

• Possibly oversee and mentor social work interns or student volunteers, providing them with valuable real-world experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a valid State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
