Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and implementing specific assessments to establish a baseline for treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and ongoing assessments, while effectively communicating these plans to patients and their families.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions in a timely manner, adjusting protocols to fit the patient's progress and needs throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge planning, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to coordinate care, ensuring holistic treatment for each patient and advocating for necessary modifications in their care plans.
• Participate actively in marketing initiatives and community outreach programs to enhance awareness of available rehabilitation services.
• Engage in professional development by pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring student interns as applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other conditions that affect mobility. Our patient population reflects the diverse demographics of the Woodbridge community, requiring tailored approaches to accommodate varying levels of health literacy and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
