Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive assessments to understand the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize strength-based interventions and create personalized therapy plans that focus on skill-building and developing resilience.

• Design and implement safety, crisis, and wellness plans tailored to the individual circumstances of clients.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress and treatment adjustments in accordance with organizational policies.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to share insights and strategies for improving client care.

• Advocate for patients’ needs and connect them to additional resources as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will be skilled in working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. Our patient population includes adults, youth, couples, and families, with an emphasis on culturally responsive care tailored to the specific backgrounds and experiences of clients. You will be equipped to meet clients where they are, fostering a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.

• A valid and active counseling license in Virginia (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).

• Proven ability to assess and effectively meet the varying mental health needs of clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trusting relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
