Work Environment\n

As a remote team member, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary providers including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and nursing staff to ensure integrated treatment plans and coordinated care for our clients. Our outpatient office fosters a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, where every team member plays a vital role in patient care. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between psychological and medical factors affecting patient well-being.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate therapeutic interventions addressing both psychiatric and medical concerns.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, or ACT.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and adherence to treatment goals.

• Offer crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring timely support and care.

• Educate patients on the correlation between mental health and physical health, helping them to better manage their overall conditions.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in patient care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of integrated mental health care to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with patients suffering from co-occurring disorders, including those with chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, and substance use disorders. This role is vital in addressing the complex interaction between these medical conditions and mental health, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment that fosters effective recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of the mental health needs specific to individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Demonstrated experience in integrated care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

• Commitment to professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality and boundaries in therapeutic settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications relevant to mental health practice.
