Betis’ Youth & Family Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a Remote Mental Health Counselor. This full-time position allows you to support and enhance the emotional well-being of individuals and families primarily through telehealth services. As an LPC, you will provide high-quality therapy and counseling interventions aimed at fostering personal growth, healing, and resilience in our clients.

Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexible work hours to accommodate a healthy work-life balance for our employees. The telehealth facility enables you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home or any location that suits you best while utilizing modern telecommunication tools and electronic medical records (EMR) software to provide effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to design individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches for effective client support.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, families, and groups, promoting effective communication and emotional expression.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including social workers and psychiatrists, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
\n
• Document all client interactions accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and training to stay current with emerging mental health practices and research initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will mainly work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Many of our clients face significant barriers to accessing mental health services, making your role crucial in providing them with necessary support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.
\n
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards as well as client confidentiality.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
\n
• Experience with EMR software and virtual communication platforms is a strong asset.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an established ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
