Work Environment\n

This role operates in a remote setting, which allows for flexible working hours while maintaining a collaborative environment with team members through virtual meetings and consultations. Our office is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate telehealth services and ensure smooth communication. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities to adjust hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patients’ needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, in delivering individual and group therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a safe space for individuals to share experiences and gain support.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated, holistic care to patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring that immediate support is provided during emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients on mental health issues, treatment options, and available local resources, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records following ethical and legal guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance skills and keep abreast of emerging therapy techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.

• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Experience working with diverse populations within individual and group therapy contexts.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong clinician-patient relationships.

• Demonstrated adherence to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Proficient use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other software applications relevant to patient management.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Fusion Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience.
