Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations post-injury, surgery, or during recovery from chronic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs, utilizing methods such as tailored exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced therapeutic equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress continuously, noting improvements and areas that may require adjustments to the treatment approach.
• Provide education and training for patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies to promote self-management of their conditions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members, including nurses and occupational therapists, to optimize care plans and enhance continuity of service.
• Stay dedicated to professional development by attending workshops, training courses, and engaging in continuing education opportunities to develop your skills and maintain your licensing requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
