Med Fit Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our esteemed team in Herndon, Virginia. Work Environment

Located in Herndon, Virginia, our outpatient clinic employs a team-oriented approach in a welcoming and dynamic environment. Our regular business hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured, consistent work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized assessments of patients' conditions, crafting individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and quality of life.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure dedicated attention and thorough treatment for each individual.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective rehabilitation interventions based on best practices.
• Employ cost-effective treatment modalities that enhance patients' motion and mobility, limiting reliance on medications.
• Promote non-surgical solutions and emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment techniques tailored to the patient's needs.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient requirements, encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and innovative techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to enhance adherence to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and other physical disabilities. Your role will be instrumental in helping patients of all ages regain strength, flexibility, and confidence through tailored rehabilitation programs. Our outpatient setting allows for direct interaction with patients, fostering meaningful relationships that are key in motivating them during their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Proven ability to develop successful exercise and treatment programs tailored to patient needs.
• Strong experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques, rooted in research and continued education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Background in sports rehabilitation or orthopedic therapy is a significant plus.
• Strong facilitation skills to motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive salary, our benefits package includes:
