Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies that cater to the unique needs of clients, including conducting thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, adapting techniques to suit varying needs.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to address diverse mental health issues.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care, which may include participation in case management and team meetings.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software effectively.

Your work at Miracle of Life Counseling will primarily involve supporting individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. Many clients may be facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse clientele and develop rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n
