Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients seeking outpatient care, utilizing a client-centered therapeutic approach.

• Conducting initial assessments to interpret clients’ relational and mental health needs, establishing personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals.

• Employing family systems theory and evidence-based systemic interventions to address relationship dynamics and improve communication among family members.

• Delivering crisis intervention and immediate support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of both clients and their families.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Empowering clients through education on effective communication, conflict resolution, and healthy coping mechanisms that enhance their relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clinical focus will include working with both adult and child/adolescent populations, providing therapy services that cater to various mental health concerns. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions, creating tailored interventions that resonate deeply with each individual's or family’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in comparable roles within the mental health field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, contributing to meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
