Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to create individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective treatment to individuals, families, and groups.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation.

• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, enhancing their treatment journey.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and substance use disorders. A significant focus of our clinic is to assist underserved populations who traditionally have limited access to mental health resources, thereby making a profound difference in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A current and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a community health or clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
