Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' unique experiences and craft effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, promote resilience, and facilitate personal growth.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate asynchronously with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated care strategy for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies through telehealth platforms, ensuring timely support and intervention.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to promote understanding and healing.
\n
• Maintain rigorous documentation practices that comply with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy through continued education and participation in team meetings and consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma, including veterans, abuse survivors, and individuals experiencing high levels of stress or anxiety related to traumatic events. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is essential.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude toward all patients.

• Competency in managing high-stress situations while maintaining a calm demeanor.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
