Key Responsibilities\n

The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to comprehensively evaluate clients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment pathways.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and personal growth.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client’s needs.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing and empowerment.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, integrated care tailored to patients' diverse needs.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely assistance.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with tools to manage challenges outside therapy sessions.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to safeguard client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing various trauma-related issues, including PTSD and complex trauma. Your focus will be on helping these individuals navigate their healing journeys, implementing therapeutic techniques specifically designed to address the complexities of trauma. You will engage empathetically with clients, creating a trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters open communication and progress.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and ability to utilize computer applications effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
