Independence Therapy Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote mental health services through telehealth. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Our innovative approach allows therapists to provide support and guidance from the comfort of their homes while ensuring flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather patients' trauma histories and guide appropriate treatment paths.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans geared towards trauma recovery and resilience-building, and regularly updating them based on patient progress.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support during emergencies that arise from trauma-related issues.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to support self-management.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and regulatory standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed of the latest research and clinical best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will guide clients toward healing, fostering their resilience and ability to cope with the effects of trauma, thereby enhancing their overall mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW , LPC , or LMFT .
\n
• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for effective documentation and patient management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with:

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that facilitate recovery and resilience.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
