Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and underlying needs to establish a solid foundation for therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and defined client goals, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing advanced therapeutic techniques that foster openness and support healing in a collaborative environment.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to align with their evolving needs and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care that holistically addresses client challenges and promotes recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LMFT license in the state of New York.

• Two years of post-licensure experience, specifically in treating mood disorders, is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, with a strong focus on outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.

• A foundational understanding of psychopharmacology, with the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other relevant medical professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving successful therapeutic outcomes and client satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
