Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured workflow. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist at Blue Horizon Psychotherapy Clinic, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms and determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder manifestations.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals and requirements.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster client growth and healing.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care model.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research in mood disorder treatments to enhance clinical practices.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders.
