Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting these findings meticulously from the first interaction to the conclusion of therapy.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on an in-depth analysis of each client's unique circumstances and progress.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue and provide clients with tools to manage their mental health effectively.

• Track client progress consistently, reassessing treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other mental health providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to create a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Provide ongoing support and follow-ups for clients who may require hospitalization, engaging with healthcare colleagues and family members to mitigate any potential crises.

• Proactively identify and prevent behaviors that could hinder recovery, ensuring clients remain on their path to improved mental health.

• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers in dealing with mental health challenges, involving them in the recovery process wherever appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a varied patient demographic, from children to older adults, encompassing individuals facing a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. Counselors are responsible for recognizing the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of clients and tailoring their therapeutic approach accordingly. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
