Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions with individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals, to provide holistic care and address the diverse needs of clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, remaining abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving individuals and families from diverse backgrounds within the Nashville area, many of whom may be facing significant barriers to accessing mental health services. The clientele may include those dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. Your compassionate approach and expertise will help clients navigate their challenges and enhance their emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to connect with and support clients effectively.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, as well as a strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with diverse populations.
