Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine pain etiology and appropriate management plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, including comprehensive medication management strategies.
• Engage in patient education to empower individuals in understanding their conditions and treatment options, fostering self-management.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment modalities to optimize outcomes and enhance quality of life.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and rehabilitation staff to ensure coordinated care and achieve therapeutic goals.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on adult patients experiencing chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to arthritis, neuropathic pain, and pain following surgical procedures. The environment emphasizes compassion and understanding, as many of our patients endure complex medical histories and require comprehensive support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
• A background in pain management is essential—candidates must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience working specifically in pain management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex patient cases and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Familiarity with interventional pain management techniques is a plus.
