Iron Gate Health & Pain Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is designed for a compassionate healthcare professional eager to provide quality care to patients who are experiencing acute and chronic pain. The typical work schedule consists of a Monday to Friday, 40-hour week.

Work Environment

As a Nurse Practitioner at Iron Gate Health & Pain Center, you will work onsite in a home care setting that emphasizes comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and accurately document patient medical histories to inform treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies, to enhance the diagnostic process.
• Provide comprehensive patient education regarding pain management, disease prevention, and effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date electronic medical records using , ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from various types of pain, including chronic pain syndromes, post-operative pain, and pain related to degenerative conditions. Your expertise in pain management will significantly contribute to improving patients' physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A current Registered Nurse licensure and a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or performing physical examinations is necessary for the role.
• Exceptional clinical skills paired with strong interpersonal abilities to foster a therapeutic rapport with patients.
• Proven capability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing patients with complex pain cases is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
