Work Environment

This role is predominantly onsite at our state-of-the-art assisted living facility situated in White Plains, NY. Here, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including leading dermatologists, to provide personalized care. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, allowing you to stay at the forefront of dermatological treatments and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and skin examinations to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological conditions, both medical (such as psoriasis and eczema) and cosmetic (like acne and signs of aging).
• Perform advanced cosmetic procedures including Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser therapies, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings and follow-up care, monitoring patient progress post-treatment.
• Provide expert skincare advice tailored to individual patient needs, fostering a trust-based doctor-patient relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on dermatology or completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program that includes dermatology coursework.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB) is required.
• Active New York state medical licensing and board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in dermatology, whether as a Nurse Practitioner or in a comparable setting. Proficiency in performing various cosmetic procedures, particularly Botox and fillers, is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates with a strong foundation in skin cancer management and post-operative care will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
