This position will be 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging meaningfully with clients via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments to understand clients' psychological needs and establish tailored intervention plans.

• Provide individual and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being and family cohesion.

• Engage in collaborative clinical consultations with colleagues in multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and mutual support.

• Document all clinical encounters and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Assist clients in navigating community resources, offering case management services to enhance their access to additional benefits and support systems.

• Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about best practices and organizational updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our counseling services is on Black birthing families, recognizing their specific challenges and cultural nuances. You will provide holistic support tailored to their mental health needs, considering factors such as socioeconomic status, cultural background, and systemic barriers in accessing healthcare. Your role is crucial in fostering mental health understanding and providing accessible support to this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marital and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Active Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with diverse clients and colleagues.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with BIPOC communities and an understanding of the unique mental health challenges they face.

• Prior experience in telehealth and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms, ensuring smooth client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
