Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to understand their unique challenges and strengths.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address client goals, drawing from evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies.

• Provide individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, skillfully addressing a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on improving communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans, tracking client progress and making necessary modifications based on ongoing assessments.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records, ensuring accurate documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that meets clients' comprehensive needs.

• Prepare to offer crisis intervention support, managing acute emotional distress or emergencies with professionalism and care.

• Pursue ongoing professional development by engaging with current research, methodologies, and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy.

• Advocate for client welfare, empowering them to take active roles in their treatment, and connect them with additional resources as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will encompass individuals across various ages, from children to adults, including couples navigating relational challenges. You will have the opportunity to develop rich therapeutic relationships with these clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and enhance their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Virginia is a mandatory requirement.

• Experience providing individual therapy and/or couples therapy, demonstrating efficacy in addressing mental health issues.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a diverse client population, including specific experience with children and adolescents.

• Proven ability to utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy services.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or EFT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
