This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while connecting with clients from the comfort of your own space. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to conduct face-to-face sessions at our outpatient facility in Lewisville, TX. Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center operates with a commitment to creating a collaborative environment where each team member is encouraged to contribute to a culture of care. Our office hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, promoting a balance of work flexibility and client accessibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and craft tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the development of resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate their trauma experiences and cultivate effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating responsiveness and professionalism.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development centered around trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults dealing with various trauma-related issues. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients process their experiences, promoting healing and resilience through personalized care strategies. As a valued member of our team, you will receive referrals to a motivated patient population excited to engage in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing effective care.

• A collaborative spirit, ready to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Preferred candidates will have at least 2 years of post-licensure experience.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly valued.

• A willingness to see couples as part of a broader behavioral health generalist approach, with training provided.

• Demonstrated ability to manage clinical documentation efficiently, with a self-guided commitment to completing notes within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, with guaranteed pay and annual increases.
