Work Environment

The role is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Edison, a location chosen for its accessibility and commitment to serving our local community effectively. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured work schedule that supports work-life balance. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and tools in physical therapy, allowing for a wide array of treatment methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical function and needs, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Treat patients through hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and educational interventions to facilitate recovery.
• Provide care for three adult patients per hour, primarily ranging from ages 40 to 65, with varied musculoskeletal issues.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to enhance the quality of patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using the CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice into treatment methodologies to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions, contributing insights to further improve practice protocols and patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients aged 40 to 65 who may be recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation for injuries. Your expertise will help in not only providing effective treatments but also in educating patients about their conditions and fostering a sense of empowerment in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and fellow team members.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest physical therapy techniques and interventions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience utilizing CureMD EMR or similar electronic documentation systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment protocols and hands-on therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
